Yep, just cause I can. I really, truly, have nothing important to say. Yeah. Um... I guess I could note that my second deviation is not what I talked about before. Just another small "blah" kind of thing. I took it with my cell phone using a solari effect. I didn't originally associate it with Portal, but some people who saw it thought otherwise and I decided to post it as Portal-related art. Either way though, I thought it looked cool.

Anywho, more on the cards. They are based on the Triple Triad minigame from Final Fantasy VIII. I'm a huge fan of TT, and thought it would be cool to bring the game to life in a new way. I even took it as far as giving them both the blue AND the red sides. Also, where I could, I tried to use different pictures of the character represented, on each side. For example, one of the cards I made was of Dart, from Legend of Dragoon. On the blue side of the card, Dart is in his human form. On the red side, I used a picture of him as the dragoon of fire. So it's that kind of thing for a lot of the cards. This is a concept I took from an online version of the Triple Triad game, TTAdvance. I liked it, and decided to run with it. Each series of cards has their own unique red and blue backgrounds, and numbers. The only thing I was unable to add was a border. I think they're good enough without them, but I may still try to change them and add that. Either way, I enjoyed making them and I wish I could continue, but my retarded desktop is never going to work again...

Yep, that's what that's all about. This actually ended being a pretty informative post. Oh yeah, and aside from the cards, I wish to start drawing up a comic based on Animal Crossing (a mix of Wild World and City Folk) and submitting that as well. The problem is, I lost my sketchbook and that's where my character models are. I finally finalized the way I wanted them to look (well, a few of them) and then I lost the book. Great. Well, maybe someday I will get to submit those as well.
